hey i have a twitter now @/victorycookies_ come say hi
could not stop imagining this post as magnus n fisher . thats his neurodivergent voidfish
[Image description: uncolored digital art of characters from The Adventure Zone, based off a Reddit thread. Magnus is a broad-shouldered human in an IPRE hoodie, while Davenport is a skinny mustached gnome in a fancy jacket, and Lucretia is a skinny human wearing glasses and a robe.
In the first panel, Magnus holds a baby Fisher up to his cheek, squishing them against his face lovingly. Magnus says: “my pet jellyfish, Mike, who is neurodivergent. he is 1 year old today.”
With an incredulous expression, Davenport asks: “Where did you get that?” and Magnus, smiling, replies: “ocean.” Lucretia pokes Fisher with a pencil and asks: “I have to ask, out of genuine curiosity, how is it determined that a jellyfish is neurodivergent?” Magnus replies: “I filled out an online quiz using his answers.” End description.]
season 4 of tma is crazy on first listen because jon wakes up from his coma and like, everyone is highly suspicious in regards to his remaining humanity, wondering if he's gone full monster, but all we hear is the tapes and he largely sounds pretty normal, like, for him? like all things considered?
and THEN you find out halfway through the season that he's been running around london finding random victims and nonconsensually slurping statements out of their brains, forcing them to live in their trauma every night, and you're like OHHHH. this is why he's been thinking about free will vs manipulation and humanity vs. monsterhood every fucking episode. the clues were there all along.
listening to the magnus archives has warped my brain because now i keep forgetting that
archiving is a real job with very few fatalities and getting stupidly surprised when someone mentions they’re an archivist in real life. like you can study for it and everything.
me: so what do you do?
them: oh im an archivist
me: haha nice try buddy but ive listened to the magnus archives
them: no its a real job that exists. i have a bachelors degree in archival science.
me: youre lying to me thats not real
